St George's runs various projects throughout the year. We will post dates for specific ones nearer time.
St George's AGM and Fun day
This year our AGM took place on Sat 14th March 2020, 12pm at the centre.
The event was open for all community members. The day was packed with activities and fun for all community members.
Christmas dinner
Our annual Christmas dinner is open for all community members. This is one of the most exciting and popular events arranged by St George's.

Family Trip
St George's supports Collyhusrt families by organizing three family trips around the year. We have had over 100 children and residents joining us for the trips.
"I am glad we could all go and wasn't just one of us, because my mum couldn't afford a trip for all."

Playscheme for children
Every year St George's hosts or organizes playscheme for children in summer time. This year summer playscheme was organised by YPAC who are children's charity running a range of various activities at St George's for the community children.

Monday Movers
We are an Age Friendly group of local community members. We meet every Monday 12pm to 2pm for a healthy meal and chat.
"This group gets me out for a few hours and I look forward to it."
The groups enables new friendships and discussions. There are various activities arranged for the members, e.g. yoga, exercise, day trips, workshops, dining out and much more.
How to join? You are welcome to come along on Monday afternoons or ring us at 0161 8349 368 for more information. We look forward to welcoming new faces to the group!
Thursdays Drop in. Cancelled due to Corona Virus but new activities planned to support residents with their health and well being.
Thursdays Drop in is going to start from next Thursday 13th February 2020 at St George's Centre. Drop-in sessions run from 1pm - 2.45pm.
Come along to join in new activities, meet new people, and enjoy some healthy food!
